Universal Credit payment due tomorrow? DWP explains how your payment date will change | Personal Finance | Finance

Lords Minister for the Department for Work and Pensions, Baroness Stedman-Scott said: “Everyone should be able to enjoy Christmas, which is why making benefit payments early and ahead of the big day helps families plan for the busy time of year.

“If you know someone who is expecting a benefit payment over the coming weeks encourage them to check if their payment date has changed.”

Universal Credit is among a number of working age benefits which are set to rise next year.

In April 2020, the payment is expected to increase by 1.7 percent, in line with inflation.
