Marvel Phase 4 TRAILER teases MCU future: Get ready for ‘UNEXPECTED’ | Films | Entertainment

Yesterday, at the Disney D23 Expo, Marvel Studios debuted a Marvel Phase 4 trailer. New information was said over footage from previous movies, addressing a number of MCU movies and Disney Plus shows currently in development. The footage began talking of the Hawkeye show, teasing a “side of Clint Barton you haven’t seen before.” Next up was What If?, which will “explore corners of the universe that might be untouched, which is really exciting.”

As expected, the Loki show will follow what happened to the alternate 2012 god of mischief who escaped in Avengers Endgame.

While WandaVision will “see what an ideal life for Wanda and Vision actually looks like.”

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings were briefly alluded to before the trailer turned to The Eternals movie.

The film follows a “really special group of people” and “will feel different to anything we’ve done before.”

Next up was The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, followed by Black Widow, which Scarlett Johansson teased, saying: “This iteration I get to play Natasha as a fully realised woman.”

Before the trailer ended with Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige adding: “We’re continuing the legacy of the MCU.

“And we’re going to do that in new ways, unexpected ways, and really build on the legacy of what’s gone before.”

Meanwhile, three more Disney Plus shows have been announced, but it’s not clear if they’re for Phase 4 or 5.

The three new shows are Ms Marvel, She-Hulk and Moon Knight.

Presumably, Captain Marvel will feature in Ms Marvel and Smart Hulk in She-Hulk.

Release dates and more information on these three new shows are yet to be announced, but we’d imagine they are limited series like the others.

Disney Plus launches in the US on November 12, but the UK release for the streaming service and all its content is still TBC.
