Shaftesbury Avenue northbound from Piccadilly Circus has been blocked, with busses 14, 19 and 38 diverted. The closures comes as bank holiday commuters are beginnning to return to the capital at the end of the long weekend. Officers have extended the cordon from Piccadilly to Great Windmill Street.
