Kate Middleton and Meghan compete in Royal Family ranking – but who’s on top? | Royal | News

Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, married Prince William in a fairytale wedding at Westminster Abbey in 2011. Meghan Markle didn’t join the Royal Family until last year, when she married Prince Harry in Windsor. Whether or not Kate is more popular within the royal family is impossible to say, but she certainly seems to have made the most of her headstart over Meghan with the general public.

YouGov have carried out months of research into where the royal family members rank in terms of popularity.

Kate Middleton sits pretty as the fourth most popular royal, according to the research, which was carried out through 9,234 interviews between June 2018 and June 2019.

Above her is only the Queen, in first place, Prince Harry in second and Prince William in third.

Kate received a 64 percent positive opinion in the YouGov poll. 10 percent was negative and 22 percent were neutral.
