Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have stepped out with baby Archie Harrison on the third day of their South Africa tour. The royal baby joined his parents to meet South African civil rights legend Desmond Tutu.The four-month-old grinned in his mum Meghan’s arms ahead of the very special meeting. Heartwarming footage of the Sussex clan off to meet Archbishop Tutu was shared via their Sussex Royal Instagram account.

Royal fans were delighted to see Archie out in public after he has kept a low profile since his birth in May.

The young royal was captured cooing in his mum’s arms as they made their way to meet the Tutus.

The footage of Archie is the first fans have seen since he was snapped at Cape Town airport on Monday.

Archie was photographed being carried by Meghan and wearing a white bobble hat as they made their way off the plane.

Baby Archie’s first royal engagement is a momentous as he will meet Nobel Peace Prize winner Desmond Tutu.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliam’s described the moment as  “a historic meeting.”

The Sussexes will meet the human rights activist and his wife, Leah, at the headquarters for their Desmond and Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation.

Following today’s visit to the Tutu’s Foundation Meghan and Harry will part ways.

Meghan will stay in South Africa with Archie as Harry heads to three other southern African countries.

Prince Harry will first visit Botswana before flying to Angola and Malawi for a few days while Meghan remains busy in SA.

Meghan still has a packed schedule in South Africa while Harry is away but she has a couple of days rest scheduled in as well.

The Duchess is understood to be staying in South Africa so that she can care for little Archie.

The Sussexes will then reunite in Johannesburg for the final two days of the tour.

Meghan and Harry have already made a warm impression on those they have met in South Africa.

The modern duo have been more tactile than most royals on tour and have dished out hugs to those they have met.

The Duke and Duchesses seem comfortable doing things differently and even shared a kiss in front of cameras yesterday.
