Avengers Infinity Saga box set will include ‘HUMILIATING’ scenes Marvel is not proud of | Films | Entertainment

It would be the box set to end all box sets. Feige has been teasing fans about a “big, giant Infinity Saga box set.” Currently, that would mean a whopping 23 movies collected together, plus all their bonus features and deleted scenes. But now the Marvel boss has revealed there are still more scenes which have never seen the light of day.  Why? Apparently, even the mighty MCU has made some mistakes it would prefer to stay hidden. Until now.

Feige was speaking at an exclusive Empire Magazine screening of Endgame.

He said: “If we do a big, giant Infinity Saga box set, we might include… I’m assuming if you’re going to spend the money to buy a box set with everything in it, you’re a fan. And it’ll take more than a couple of really, really bad scenes to turn you…

“There are things that we think nobody should ever see. And I think we’ve just recently been discussing that now we can start to show some of our less proud moments.”

“There’s stuff that still pops up from the Star Wars trilogy occasionally – Tosche Station for instance. That is not great, it certainly shouldn’t be in the movie, but I love seeing it. I love that they shot it and it exists and we get to see it.

“So usually we love putting that stuff out there. There’s some things that we’ve been too humiliated to show, but I think we’ll bring out soon enough.”

Feige is referring to the cult deleted scenes from A New Hope which showed Luke Skywalker as a young man with a band of friends on Tattooine. In one, he is at Tosche Station talking about a space battle he saw in the skies overhead.

Fans will be desperate to know what kind of scenes Feige and his teams found too embarrassing to reveal until now.

But he also revealed his pleasure in including deleted scenes which were cut for runtime or other reasons but still deserve to be seen. like the fan-pleasing moment when all the Marvel heroes kneel in respect to Tony’s sacrifice on the final battlefield.

Feige said; “I like sharing those scenes. And when we have something like that that we love, and which was not an easy decision to cut out but was the best decision for the movie, it’s a great avenue to say, ‘We’ll put it out there.’ It’s not like no-one will ever see it.”
